Sunny Sahil Bhopal

Sahil Bhopal is a contemporary Thangka painter from Himachal Pradesh, India. He has been trained in the Karma Gadri style by master artist Noedup Rongae. He lived and studied in the Shambhala Art school within the Drukpa Kagyu monastery Dechen Chokhor in Himachal Pradesh for seven years. Sahil has a direct and continuous connection with the artistic lineage of Indian and Tibetan Buddhism. He has resided in Nepal for the past few years as he feels a strong connection to the Kathmandu valley and its diverse artistic traditions. He is a meticulous artist dedicated to pushing the lineage of Tibetan Buddhist painting forward.
