Sara Tunich Koinch

Sara Tunich Koinch was born in Sindhuli, but her family migrated soon after to Dhanusha, where she grew up. Her exposure to different cultures is a central influence in her work. She explores diverse mediums to execute concepts and materialize subjects, while centering her focus on humans, society, and culture. In her current practice, Sara is researching her own culture in order to better understand her own roots and her identity.
