Tashi R. Ghale is a celebrated Himalayan wildlife photographer and citizen scientist deeply connected to the Annapurna region in Manang, Nepal. His passion for the mountains and snow leopards led him to become a dedicated conservationist, monitoring and capturing live images of these elusive creatures. He also documented the rare Pallas’s cat and Himalayan wolves, showcasing his expertise in camera-trap technology. Ghale’s contributions earned him prestigious awards, including the Abraham Conservation Award and Disney Conservation Hero award, recognizing his commitment to preserving nature and promoting sustainable development in Nepal. His work exemplifies a profound dedication to wildlife conservation and protection of the fragile habitats of the Himalayas.
