Namrata Singh Danuwar
Namrata Singh is a contemporary artist from Mahottari, Nepal, with a strong connection to Mithila Tradition. Her art primarily focuses on the positive aspects of life, using vibrant colors to represent joy, love, and inspiration. Over time, her work has evolved to highlight the daily life and aspirations of Mithila women, addressing societal change and tradition. Namrata holds a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts and has received prestigious awards for her Mithila Folk Art. She currently works as a freelance artist, conducts art workshops, and teaches children. Her solo exhibitions include the “Reminiscence of Mithila Motifs and Lifestyle” in 2022.
